Senior Advisor (Client Solutions)

We are looking for a Senior Advisor (Client Solutions) – a subject matter expert who partners with Australian accounting firms to create strategies that leverage offshore talent as part of their overall growth plans.

In this highly client-facing role, you will bridge technical accounting expertise with solution-focused consulting, driving efficiency, compliance, and commercial value. You’ll work closely with business development and account management teams to identify opportunities, deliver high-impact finance advisory, and support firms in transforming their accounting operations.

This role is ideal for someone with a rare combination of accounting industry experience, sales acumen, and strategic advisory skills, who thrives on building relationships, influencing senior stakeholders, and creating tangible business outcomes.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with Account Management teams to identify opportunities for creating or improving client offshore growth strategies for expansion.
  • Actively drive revenue growth by uncovering client needs and designing high-value, tailored solutions that leverage offshore talent.
  • Lead client-facing conversations, presenting solutions, demonstrating ROI, and positioning services to expand client engagement.
  • Advise clients on best practice accounting workflows, systems, and controls while linking recommendations to commercial outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to integrate offshore accounting teams into client operations for efficiency, scalability, and growth.
  • Serve as a technical escalation point for complex accounting matters and offshore execution challenges.
  • Recommend and champion process improvements and automation initiatives, ensuring measurable business impact.

    What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven accounting industry experience in Australia (public practice)
  • Demonstrated success in client-facing sales or business development roles, ideally within professional services or finance.
  • Strong consultative and advisory skills, able to translate complex accounting concepts into actionable, revenue-generating solutions.
  • Experience designing or implementing accounting strategies and workflow improvements.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and close with senior client stakeholders.
  • Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, etc.) is a plus.
  • Prior experience working with or advising on offshore accounting teams is desirable.
